NEW YORK HERE I COME!
Onward and Upward,
Now the fun begins!

Hello friends and family! Thanks for stopping by!! I'm moving on and starting in the hospital full-time. It's hard for me to believe how fast the time has flown by as this new phase in my medical education begins. Since September 2001, I've been enrolled at Ross University School of Medicine in the Commonwealth of Dominica, West Indies (or, as I like to call it, the island that the rest of the Caribbean forgot).

As of December 2002, I completed my pre-clinical studies on the island as well as my first clinical clerkship in Miami, Florida. Now, it's on to the Big Apple to finish my basic medical training!

Miami - The Gateway to Latin America

I'm fortunate in that I've lived in Miami before, of-and-on, for about two years total. Miami is a great city with a lot to offer. There's the world-famous South Beach, Coral Gables and the Biltmore Hotel, Coconut Grove on beautiful Biscayne Bay, and a short skip down to the Florida Keys. In a way, the opportunity to spend a portion of my studies in Miami will be sort of a homecoming for me. Even after I moved away, I was fortunate enough to be able to regularly travel there during my years working in the pharmaceutical industry.
